Wardrobe Guidelines¶
Owner: Director
Goal¶
Clothes that let you move, kneel, and play; that read well on camera; and that keep the congregation’s attention on the lyric, not the platform.
Defaults (edit in Our Congregation)¶
- Clean, intentional, comfortable for movement — jeans and a plain shirt are fine; so is a dress you can kneel in
- Shoes you can stand and move in safely
- Nothing that talks over the lyric: large logos, slogans, political or other-church merch, jewelry that hits the mic
- Stage light is harsher than bathroom light — check sheer fabrics and hemlines with a teammate you choose
- Team colors, if leadership sets them: Our Congregation
If something needs saying¶
The Director or Worship Lead says it privately, before service when possible. Nobody is corrected from the stage or in the group chat.
Special services¶
Christmas, baptisms, funerals, conferences may carry specific dress notes — on the service plan (“Special dress”).
