Teams carry grief, burnout, marriage stress, and doubt. We would rather know and adjust the roster than watch someone quietly drown.
Invitations¶
- Tell a lead if you need a season off
- You are not disloyal for resting
- Leaders will not always fix everything — but you won’t be alone
When it is bigger than the band¶

| Burnout, grief, a hard season | Section lead or Director; the roster bends |
| Conflict that is not safe to take to the person (power, harassment, a lead is the problem) | Skip the chain: Director or pastor directly |

Boundaries¶
- The worship team is not a counseling center; we route to pastors / care team
- Don’t process someone else’s private story in the band room; what you hear stays in the team — except where the church’s reporting obligations apply
- Dating inside the team is not banned by Petra; if it affects scheduling or power, the Director handles it privately
