Monitor / IEM Checklist

Owner: Monitor Engineer / Tech Lead

Minimum viable Sunday: everyone hears click (if used), lead vocal, and themselves; nobody shouts for a mix mid-song.

Pre

• Packs assigned / labeled; spare pack charged and where the plot says
• Frequencies coordinated
• Click/guide routed and metered
• Personal mix workflow explained to any guest
• Pack-death default agreed: spare pack → nearest wedge → play on the room; tell the Worship Lead once (your church’s choice in Our Congregation)

Build order (typical)

1. Click / guide
2. Lead vocal
3. Drum / bass foundation
4. Own instrument
5. Others as requested

Monitor freeze

After the final run, no major mix rebuilds unless pain or safety. Requests come through the cue workflow — specific (“more acoustic in the verse”), never shouted mid-song.

• Packs returned, charging
• Note chronic “more me” stage-volume issues for the Worship Lead / Tech Lead
